everyone should eat noodles at noodle hut because the kwai teow and inferno is great when i ate it. I recommend it to all that have been there to eat and all that have not been there.

Especially if tall Andy is making it (there’s a few “Andys” working there). He’s probably the best coffee-nerd in the Northern suburbs.
The food is great too, but it can be too pricey at times. Nearly $10 for an egg and bacon roll is really pushing it. Lovely staff and owners, (plus proximity!) and very good coffee (if the girls don’t make it) is what really keeps me going there.

Trapezi has a lively atmosphere, great greek food (best I have had in Melbourne)and fast, fun and friendly service.
Everything is good but the Chilli Feta is to die for.

Andrew is doing shifts at APPLEBOX and Bean Counter .. he makes awesome coffee, so keep an eye out for him. The biscotti is a treat with your coffee, and I can’t go past poached eggs with spinach and mushrooms for brekky. Sit outside on a sunny day and enjoy the village atmosphere!

Ricotta pancakes with berries on top. A generous serve at what I consider a (not small) but reasonable price. Basically what I’m saying is despite the fact that I can make perfectly good pancakes at home sometimes I wake up in the morning and head straight there, in fact, maybe I’ll go there tomorrow … mmmm … pancakes.

Great new concept in a video store. You can browse movies online (especially checking if they’re currently available for rent), click ‘rent the movie’ then just go a pick it up with your take-away. They’re just around the corner from me so I’m a bit biased, but I really think you’ll like the way that these folks roll.

Applebox is amazing! Best video store I’ve ever been to…. and you don’t need to leave home to choose your movie. Only thing missing is the bar.

For a park so close to the city, it’s great to see so many areas for dogs off-lead. And there are always a few bums to sniff, which is a doggie bonus.

Great spot for walking the dogs. You can have your dog off-lead in most areas, except BBQ areas and within 5 metres of sealed tracks, although thats not a big deal in most places as generations of dog walkers have formed their own dirt track 5 metres to the side of pathways. You can do circuits of 30mins to 2 hours. Poo bag dispensers are around, but finding one with bags in it is unlikely. Watch out for maniac cyclists who use four letter expletives instead of a bell or horn like civilised folk.
