This little grocery store is great, they have 100% organic fruit and vegetables, and an organic juice bar. I like this place because everything is organic, so you don’t have to worry, and the prices are pretty similar to the market, but they are open 7 days.

intimate, professional french restaurant with small seasonal menu, knowledgable staff, small but good wine list.
The food is consistently excellent, the prices surprisingly not too expenssive for the quality of the dishes, the atmosphere is lovely, and touches like french linens just add to the perfection.

Wonderful new hotel has been beautifully re-imagined and re-designed (formerly this was the red eagle hotel building but thankfully Nest is far, far removed from that aesthetic). The interior is cool and elegant, the colourful awnings add personality, the staff is inviting, friendy and knowledgable about the food, wine and beer served.
The dining room is small and professionally run and currently selling amazing food matched by an accessible and interesting wine list, at a bargain – get in while they’re new, I’m sure prices will go up.
They’ve got a bisto menu too, nothing over about $18 and lots of great beers too, both on tap and in bottles.
Grab a 500m glass of hoegaarden (if you can lift it), sit on a street-side table and catch the afternoon sun rays – it’s a treat!

Friendly, professional, cosy and stylish little French wine bar that also serves excellent meals and snacks. The wine list is fairly priced, extensive and has some nice surprises on it (if you can afford them!). The menu is small, the food is delicious and well priced – and the bread and olive-oil shouldn’t be missed!
