A new restuarant which has appeared in the uber groovy Yarraville village is a real treat. it just has that authentic feel of a trattoria which could be anywhere in provincial Italy. The food is great and the service is by people who care and actually own the palae. It has upstairs and floor level dinning in what feels rustic but contemporary. I think this place will grow into a favourite of many locals.

This is a great little espresso haunt of which there are many in Adelaide. They know how to do coffee here and take their coffee seriously, as I do. So it’s of the best in SA, which is no Melbourne when it comes to cafe culture. They have some reasonable panini and sweets, but coffee is their shizzle. Nice fresh arabica beans for sure. Usually staffed by reasonable sexy chicks (if you’re into that type of thing). Decor is nice and contemporary too.

This is an Italian style grocery store, general store and cafe. It looks really great and has a nice finish. It’s kind of rare in a place like Adelaide. They have some really awesome italian foods like olive oils, bibite (Soft drink) wine bread and other condiments you just can’t buy in Coles and Woolworths. However, the service in their cafe is close to the worst I’ve experienced. Thy are ‘rude’ at best and condescending at worst. I wont go there again becausee of this.

I prefer this lcoation as a lunchtime haunt. call me fussy, but i live local and know every cafe here inside out. The people who run it are nice, yet quiet people and they do some very nice lunch dishes. Including my fav the Vegie Lasagna. I also indulge in an Urbano Burger once in a while which comes with a nice salad to offset guilt on the side. For breaky go the Omlete versus the scrambled eggs which is just a bit better. The coffee their is nice, as you’d excpect ina gentrified uber groovy Suburb like Yarraville village. Go there and tell ’em Stevie sent you.

I went there today for a coffee with my brother and my niece for coffee. It is the second time I have been there and their service is benchmark. I really enjoy going there becuase the people are nice. The coffee is nothing to right home about , but their attitude is. it’s on Southbank near the river in Melbourne where service usually sucks. So it’s a refreshing change if you are in the area. Nice comfy couches too.

This is a classic italian style pizza place. Focus is traditional old style thin crust pizza with only afew ingredients per pizza. There is no changes allowed to any Pizza which I respect. The restuarant is cosy & groovy. You can really taste each pizza has it’s individual mouthfeel, where you can taste what you are eating.
The best thing ever is the dessert – the Chocolate Calzone. Delectable.

This is clearly the best run cafe in the local area. of particular notice is their ‘cappucino’, and scrambled eggs which just have the best natural egg taste… Don’t know what they do back their in their kitchen, but I approve. Their ragu pasta also rocks. Also love the mural on the wall. On hot days they open all the windows of indoor outdoor action. newspapers always on hand and after a couple of visits they know your name. Good blokes who know how to run a cafe.
