Great ciabatta, rotis and pannini for lunch. interesting selections always pop up. Spiced cauliflower and aioli is a favourite. Staff are uber-friendly and the coffee rocks.

Awesome skyline views behind brilliant films. Great little astro turf rooftop with deckchairs for screenings. Bring warm clothes even in summer.
Mulled wine in winter. The bar is great during the day. Apparently Concorde Crepes is up there now too but haven’t ever seen them.

Tennis lawn come rooftop bar. Great in summer. Grab a jug of Pimms stuffed with strawberries, orange slices and cucumber sticks then lay back and marvel at the Melbourne skyline.
Great chicken sandwiches with tabasco sauce too.

Crazy place… You pretty much get forced into eating the banquet, which is not an issue cos it is super cheap and super tasty.

Can be an issue getting a table but if you rock up with some Tupperware, you can get some takeaway and it it in the gardens across the road.

Best breakfast in Melbourne. It gets all organic and bio-dynamic and edges towards the pricy side once you start stacking on the sides but the food is extra tasty. Especially the organic, bio-dynamic, pricey Tasmanian bacon.

Cool outdoor “eating in your neighbour’s backyard” feel to the terrace. Very chilled.

Pick up some organic veggies on your way out. You’ll come back.

Doesn’t have much signage and doesn’t look like anything from the outside but has a brilliant open kitchen coffee area inside.

Do wonderful food and the staff are superfriendlynice.

Side terrace is great for sunny coffees and warm rolls and book readings.
