"Good. If you’re buying a second hand laptop you’ve really only got 2 options: ebay or a computer swap meet.
If you already know which one you want (ie: specific brand/model) ebay is the place. You can get one from some other punter without the added premium of buying through a store." - Neville Challinger

"Good. If you can brave the stench of the computer swap meet you can usually pick up some fair-priced deals on older computer hardware. The swap meets occur on Sundays at various town halls around Melbourne. Check the Age green guide for where upcoming weeks will be.
Closest to Abbotsford is the swap meet that happens at Collingwood Town Hall." - Neville Challinger

"Awful. Notebooks R Us is grossly overpriced in my experience, I was in the market for a new laptop and found one at Notebooks R Us which I liked. Then I found the identical laptop – down to the last detail – for more than $1200 less at cworld – less than a block away.
I would guess that this inflated price issue stretches to used laptops but I cannot confirm." - Neville Challinger
