"Great. Went in on a wednesday and got $10 parmas bigger than the plate! Funky little place, they seem to be slowly fixing it up so it has a rough around the edges vibe which i really liked.. Bar chick was awesome, really friendly. Definitely be going back." - bev buttercup
"Great. The Swan was a derelict, sticky carpet pub (nothing wrong with character) but now the sons have taken over and have given the pub a facelift. It has great, inexpensive pub food. (Parma around $15)
It’s unusual for Chapel St, being pretty much prat free, well presented and family friendly. Bar out the front where people hang on the cricket or football scores. Tables and kitchen out the back. The dining area is pretty comfortable, spacious and calmer except for the odd energetic child in a batman costume." - Edward Borland
"Great. Seriously yummy menu bizarrely parked next to the Richmond housing commission flats. Restaurant inside and beer garden outside (where else right?!)
Not many pubs serve rabbit! Home of the best chicken parma in town according to the superparma website. the pub has some history.. People from “all nations” frequented (and still do) this place, there are some photos and I think it’s more upmarket than it might have been back in the day.
Nice friendly pub with nice vino/beer and super tucker.
When the footy or cricket is on, they take you to the G after lunch and pick you up so you can celebrate or drown your sorrows." - Edward Borland
