it sure is….and maybe that’s why it’s so hard to find.
Kenzan (behind the Sofitel) has sashimi and sushi that is so fresh that it just melts in your mouth.

Having not been to Japan I’m not too sure what ‘authentic’ is exactly but this place feels like the real deal to me. There are usually Japanese business folks holed up at the bar at the end of the day with Saki.
