The Standard Hotel is a great pub. It has a very nice beer garden and a great atmosphere. The food is beautiful and the service is friendly and efficient.Definitely one of my favourite pubs in Melbourne. I would recommend this pub without doubt for a great night out.

They made an error & didn’t cook 3 meals of 13. Their answer was ‘the chef has a bad temprement & he turned the oven off’. They didn’t cook them. I asked to speak to the manager and he was just as rude AND arrogant. They spoilt my birthday dinner as 3 of my guest were left hungry. I’ll never go back there!!

the standard fully sucks. unbelievably rude management! free food poisoning with each meal. only bar in melbourne i refuse to go to. spread the word – the standard is worse than a weekend in woollongong

the standard has one of the best beer gardens around fitzroy. dappled sunlight through lush greenery and a good mix of seating/standing options.

Couldn’t tell ya.. Rocked up at 11pm on a Saturday night and was told the bar was already closed geeez But I did see Stella on tap which is a good start!! :)

Great local for a casual meetup with mates. Lots of choice of beer on tap – including Guinness! Closes early – 11.30pm. Also features some interesting bar busking…
