Lucy F says the grande Boutique Hotel Hepburn we found overpriced and disappointing. (About 1 year ago)
Imagine you and your lover are led down a stark white passage to a stark white room, which you have been led to expect will a pleasant, cosy, possibly even romantic art deco inspired space but which in reality resembles a hospital ward. In the hotel room cum ward you find a small double bed saddled with an art deco era saggy mattress, broken light fittings, a toilet with no door causing the sound of your ablutions to be magnified around the room and a dribbling shower. Imagine paying $180 a night for this experience. The Grand Hotel in Hepburn. Don’t believe the hype.
